Celebrate 24 Years of Transit Tees and the Launch of the Chicago Handshake Second Round

Chicago friends, mark your calendars. On Thursday, November 20th, we are opening the doors of our Wicker Park shop for a night dedicated to all things Transit Tees and all things Chicago Handshake. This anniversary celebration is also the official release party for our new Chicago Handshake Drinking Card Game Second Round.

Transit Tees has spent 24 years creating original designs inspired by the character, humor, and culture of Chicago. This event brings together the community that has supported us, the teams that have built our products, and the playful spirit behind everything we design. The launch of the new expansion deck is a perfect companion to the original full game, the Chicago Handshake Drinking Card Game. 

If you already enjoy the original game, the expansion will fit right in with your next game night.

What You Will Experience

24 Percent Off Everything

To honor our 24th year in business, we are offering 24 percent off everything, starting at the event and running until 12/1 in store and online at transittees.com. This includes apparel, puzzles, LED light boxes, socks, greeting cards, and all of our games. The timing is perfect if you are shopping for gifts or simply waiting for a reason to treat yourself.

First Look at the Chicago Handshake Second Round

Guests will be the first to see and play the new expansion deck. The Second Round introduces new challenges, fresh humor, and even more ways to prove you can handle a proper Chicago Handshake. It is designed to work alongside the original game to add variety for players who already love it, but it can also be played without the original deck for a completely fresh take on the classic.

Expect a warm, welcoming crowd and a fun mix of long-time supporters, new visitors, and neighbors who love Chicago as much as we do. Our team will be on hand if you want to talk design, browse products, or learn more about our games.
