The Chicago Style Eats Collection: Inspired by Real Chicago Food

At Transit Tees, we’ve always worn our love for Chicago on our sleeves, sometimes literally.

That’s especially true with our hand-drawn, proudly local Chicago Style Eats Collection: a tribute to
the most iconic, crave-worthy foods that originated in our beloved city.

From Italian Beef to Rainbow Cone, from Tavern-Style Pizza to Tamales, we packed the design with our
favorite flavor-packed symbols of Chicago’s diverse neighborhoods and bold food traditions. The art
came first, illustrated in our Wicker Park studio, and it was so mouthwatering, we knew we had to go
one step further. So we hit the streets.

Our Instagram series, Chicago Style Eats, brought our illustrations to life as we visited the real-deal
spots that inspired the design. We ate, we filmed, we laughed (through the face-stuffing shots and
gooey cheese pulls) all in the name of Chicago pride.
