On the evening of December 16th, 1773 , a group of colonists boarded an East India Company ship in Boston harbor and threw its cargo of tea overboard in protest of new laws that gave the EIC a decisive competitive advantage over local American merchants. America has been a coffee-drinking country ever since! This mug is perfect for sipping some coffee in defiance of the crown, or for staging your own little tea party in a cup.

A mighty 15 oz. mug with an extra large comfortable "C" shape handle. 4.5" height x 3.4" diameter.

Microwave and Dishwasher safe. Hand washing recommend to prevent fading.

Designed by Transit Tees in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.
