Chicago's infamous El system has been the moving residents and visitors to and from the heart of the city since 1892. Named for the elevated tracks where trains roar over pedestrians below at all hours of the day, the El moves nearly three-quarters of a million people each day. Each piece is produced in house and unique elements may appear depending on the material quality and atmospheric conditions at the time of laser etching.
