The Chicago stars represent four distinct events in Chicago's history: Fort Dearborn, The Great Chicago Fire, The World's Columbian Exposition, and the Century of Progress Exposition. The top blue stripe represents Lake Michigan and the North branch of the Chicago River. The bottom blue stripe represents the South branch of the Chicago river and canal.
This card is dimensional, with raised embroidered stars.
This card was printed using soy based inks on a 96 brightness smooth cover.
Made with an A2 folded card a euroflap envelope.
Designed by Transit Tees in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood.
My go-to card for friends and family who are away from their favorite city. I’ve probably purchased a dozen of these over the years. Perfection.
This card is awesome! The stars are actually embroidered on the card! I wish I would have purchased more than one! I will definitely be getting more in the future! Wish they came as a set!
Looks great, but would've preferred the compete flag design with white stripes on the bottom and top. Also, the thick embroidered stars could cause problems sending it USPS. Going to use a padded envelope.
Really nice touch that the stars are raised and embroidered.
